Kiwi Syslog Server Latest MIB Database |

Kiwi Syslog Server has the ability to parse SNMP traps using its own built-in MIB database. Most of the MIBs from the major networking vendors are contained in the database already. If you would like to add more MIBs please zip them up and complete our MIB submission form, adding the MIBs at the 'attachments' sections of the form.
The MIB database is recompiled with additional vendor MIBs as we receive them. The latest build of the database can always be downloaded from the link below.

To install the new MIB database on your system...
- Run the installer. It will install the new MIB database into the \MIBs folder (this is usually C:\Program files\Syslogd\MIBs).
- Restart Kiwi Syslog Daemon.
- If you are running the service edition, you will need to use the Manage menu to stop and restart the service.

You may find that some OID values are not being resolved correctly. If this is the case, locate the file called "UnknownOIDs.txt" in the \MIBs subfolder and send it through our MIB submission form. We will use this file as part of the database compiling process to ensure that all the required OIDs are included. If you have access to the MIB file from the device that is sending the messages, please zip this up and include it with your e-mail. Once the MIB database has been recompiled we will upload it to the web site and notify you via e-mail.
Download the latest version of the kiwi-enterprises.mib, which contains Kiwi Enterprises trap and trap data definitions for SNMP traps sent by Kiwi Syslog Server.
