INFO: What to check if CatTools activites run slowly on VM systems


I've been using your Syslog Daemon for years. It's a really great tool.

If you are running CatTools on a VM ESX/Server system with multiple virtual processors you may find that multi-threaded activities in CatTools can slow down. This is because execution waits for the same number of physical processors to simultaneously become available before it can continue.If you are seeing this issue we would recommend reducing the number of virtual processors.
