INFO: Not receiving messages (Step 1)

Confirm that your network devices are configured...

As Kiwi Syslog Daemon does not actively poll your network devices, you need to configure each of these to send their syslog information to the IP address of the system that you have installed Kiwi Syslog Daemon upon.

Quite often we find that a network device will require a reboot, to force it to take the new settings.

If you have configured your device and Kiwi Syslog Daemon is installed but not receiving messages, then we recommend that you try the reboot option.
