If you have installed Kiwi Syslog Server on your Windows XP, 2003 or Vista system and you have turned off the Windows Firewall, you may find that whenever you turn off Kiwi Syslog Server, you receive a lot of messages similar to the following;
This is because your Windows system will send an ICMP type 3 response to any packet received that is sent to a port that it is not currently bound to. The best way to stop these messages is to turn on your Windows Firewall and create an exception.
