ERROR: Kiwi CatTools application fails to run


I have the ability to sit at the Syslog server and monitor everything in real time.

Symptoms

When trying to run the application, no interface is displayed after the Kiwi Enterprises splash screen disappears. The application (CatTools.exe) appears to be running in the Task Manager for a few seconds then stops, and nothing else happens.

Reason

It is most likely that the Visual Basic runtime file MSVBVM60.dll required to start the application on the system, has been corrupted or is missing.

Resolution

Download the VB6 runtime file (VBRun60.exe) from the Microsoft web site , and re-install to your system. This will re-install all the necessary Microsoft Visual Basic run-time files that all applications created with Visual Basic 6.0 need in order to run.
