Upon starting Kiwi Syslog Daemon, you receive a prompt stating the following: "Failed to load control '*' from *.OCX. Your version of *.OCX may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application." Note: The * represents the name of the file. For example, comdlg32.ocx. To fix this problem you will need to search your system for all instances of the "*.ocx" and rename them to "*_old.ocx". For example, if the control that failed was "comdlg32.ocx", then you would rename all found instances of this file to "comdlg32_old.ocx". Once you have done this, reinstall Kiwi Syslog Daemon again, and then reboot the system to insure that the changes have taken place. |
