Importing or Exporting a Rule
Use the right-click menu to Import or Export an entire Rule, including all its filters and actions. The cursor must be on Rules to Import or on the chosen Rule to Export.
You will be prompted for a file name to Export the Rule to, or Import the Rule from. The default file extension is .ksr (Kiwi Syslog Rule).
The exported Rule file can then be sent to someone else via e-mail, used at a later date, or transferred to another syslog server.
If you develop a useful Filter/Action set and would like to share it with others, please send a copy of the .ksr file to support@kiwisyslog.com so it can be placed on the web for others to use.
When importing a Rule file from another system, please check all the action settings are correct. The originating system may have used a different drive letter to log to for example. You may have to change occurrences of D: to C: or visa-versa.
