On the Activities tab, click New.
Select Report.Error info table. Enter a unique Name. Leave the other options on this tab at their defaults.
Click on the Time tab.
Select, for instance, "Every 4 hours" as the Recurring option in the Times box to run the activity every 4 hours. Leave all other options on this tab at their defaults.
Click on the Devices tab.
Select the Devices you want to report on from your CatTools Host.
In the Options tab you can select the information and counters you wish to display using the Specify report headers option. The first row of this matrix shows all the information that may be reported on. You can select to report on each column or not as you wish. You may also select and drag each column to the position you want for formatting the report layout.
The second row of the matrix allow you to enter your own heading for each column. Simply select the column heading you wish to change and type the new heading.
If you check the Calculate column totals option then Kiwi CatTools will provide you with a summary total for each of the errors columns. Each device in the activity has a separate totals summary line.
Selecting the Clear interface counters option causes Kiwi CatTools to clear the devices error counters after collecting all the current data.
Enabling the final option will allow you to collect counter information from your VLANs. This option currently only applies to Cisco IOS devices.
Once you have decided on the options click the OK button.
