CatTools may experience problems starting the Client threads when running on machines that use remote desktop software.
RealVNC and TightVNC
It appears that these applications interrupt the windowing system and cause the client to only start one thread.
You will need to use RegEdit to set the "use_Deferral" setting to 0.
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL\VNCHooks\Application_Prefs\CatTools_Client.exe
Set Dword: use_Deferral to 0
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL\VNCHooks\Application_Prefs\CatTools.exe

PC Anywhere
There is not a workaround for using CatTools and PC Anywhere at this stage.
