Kiwi Syslog Daemon 8.3.40 Final includes a roll-up of all additions, fixes and changes since the previous final release (8.3.30).
Additions:
- Increased Unicode and UTF-8 read support for Windows hosts and Kiwi Syslog Daemon Static Hosts files.
- Added support for multiple bind-to addresses for SNMP inputs.
- Added "registered only" feature notification for log file rotation and packet spoofing.
- Added new error alert icon in toolbar.
- Improved DNS Resolver error logging (parser error / unknown server response type).
Fixes:
- Fixed unhandled exception when logging to MSSQL Server database during MSSQL SHUTDOWN.
- Fixed bug when running an external program from a scheduled archive task, that occurs when no zip options have been specified.
- Fixed database test service command timeout error reporting.
- Fixed unhandled exception in the file rotation when attempting to rotate a file which is being moved by a scheduled archive task.
- Increased unhandled exception handling when converting old archives to scheduled tasks.
- Fixed DNS Resolver (parser error) overloading host name information.
- Added missing tags to custom XML formatted log file output.
- Fixed improper handling of null values when importing Kiwi Syslog Daemon settings via the LoadNewSettings.ini method.
